Praia de Copacabana
The long crescent beach between Leme and Arpoador.
Four kilometres of sand and mosaic boardwalk, busy from morning on with runners, kiosks and beach sport. The Leme end is calmer, and the fort at the Arpoador end gives a clean view back along the bay. Mornings are the quietest time.
